Obituary of Paul Johnstone Mersereau

With his family at his side the death of Paul Mersereau, husband of Lynn (Wasson) Mersereau occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, July 6, 2013. He was born on July 28, 1940 in Fredericton Junction to the late Paul and Edith (Johnstone) Mersereau. Paul worked in the claims department at Angus Miller for many years. Besides his wife of 32 years Lynn, Paul is survived by his son, P. Jay Mersereau (Sheri) of Hampton; daughters: Patti Marshall (Tony) of Renforth and Robyn Kerr (Mark) of Saint John; sisters: Helen Breen and Paula Nason (Ken); grandchildren: Morgan, Alyssa, Nicole, Baylee, Nate, Katie and Madison and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, David and brother-in-law, Donald Breen. Arrangements under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). At Paul’s request there will be no formal visitation and funeral service. A private family graveside service will be held in Fernhill Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish remembrances to Palliative Care Unit (SJRH) or the Animal Rescue League Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
