Obituary of Raymond Joseph McQuade

The unexpected death of Ray McQuade, husband of Maureen McQuade (Crawford) occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, September 23, 2013. He was born on May 8, 1946 in Johnville, NB to the late Andrew and Margaret (Henry) McQuade. He worked as a Mechanic for Brett’s Chevrolet for over 32 years. He was avid hunter, fisherman, ATV operator; Ray just loved the outdoors. Besides his wife Maureen of over 45 years; Ray is survived by his brothers: Charles (Barb), Fred (Sheila), Terry, Richard (Nancy), Marvin (Valerie) and Vernon; sisters: Monica McQuade (Joe) and Gwyneth Estes (Ken); uncle, Bernard (Yvonne), bestfriend and brother-in-law, Tommy and his daughter, Amanda; his furry companion, Charlie and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brother, Norman and sister, Dorothy. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Family and friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Ray’s Life on Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be starting in Brenan’s Chapel at 2:00 pm. For those who wish remembrances to the SPCA-Animal Rescue League would be appreciated by the family.
