Obituary of James Higgins Dennis

The unexpected death of Jim Dennis occurred at his residence on Friday, May 4, 2012. He was born on September 26, 1950 in Saint John to the late William and Mary (Bugley) Dennis. He worked for Parker D. Mitchell as a Burner Repair Technician for a number of years. In his spare time, Jim loved fixing cars and renovating houses. He enjoyed living in the country and taking long country drives. He is survived by Vera Dennis; daughters: Mary-Anne Dempster (Jody) of Oromocto, Cynthia Dennis of Toronto, ON, Jamie Dennis (Ken Bugley) of Beamsville, ON and Amber Dennis (Clint Betteridge) of Quispamsis; mother of his daughters: Jane (London) Bergdahl; siblings: Mary Slipp (Carl), William Dennis (Linda), Jean Wetmore (Bill), Eddie Dennis, Lorraine Dennis, Larry Dennis and Jean White (Dion); sister-in-law, Dale Dennis; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Edna and brother, Richard. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
