Obituary of Glenna Matilda Lambert

The death of Glenna Matilda (Langille) Lambert, of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Laurence F. “Bill” Lambert, occurred on Friday, November 23, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in St. Martins, NB, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Lucille (Weston) Langille. Glenna was employed with Kiersteads Flower Shop, owned and operated Lambert’s Coffee Corner until her retirement. She was a member of St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Pythian Sisters #13 and she loved to shop, and being surrounded by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family. She is survived by one son, Paul Belyea of Saint John; two daughters, Linda (John) Walker and Kimberley Lambert both of Saint John; one sister Violet Durick, godmother, Doris Morissey both of Saint John; four grandchildren, Michael, Matthew Belyea, Jeff and Jason (Suzanne) Walker, five great-granddaughters, Laura, Natalie, Maggie, Amy and Caroline, several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by eight brothers, Lawson, Lloyd, Hugh, Warren, Elton, Wendell, Olie, and Birmingham, four sisters, Marie Lowe, Lena Leyden, Ida Pitt, and Lila McGuire, brother-in-law, Jack Durick. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, November 26, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Alzhiemer Society of Saint John, I.W.K. Health Centre Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
