Obituary of Murray Frederick McKnight

The death of Murray F. McKnight of Saint John, NB occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, June 21, 2007. Murray was born in Saint John, the son of the late Frederick L. and Della L. (Gamblin) McKnight. He had been employed for thirty-four years at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Survived by his wife, Thelma (Jeans) McKnight; one son, Ray A. of Alberta; two sisters, Ruth (John) Smith of Dartmouth, NS and Janet (Leigh) McKnight of Midland, NB; three grandsons: Adam, Austin and Anthony; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son, Weldon F. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Saturday from 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from Brenan’s Chapel on Monday, June 25, 2007 at 11 am. Interment will be in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Calvary Temple, Gideon’s International or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
