Obituary of Audrey Frances Brown

The death of Audrey Frances Brown occurred on January 14, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Alice (Duggan) Brown and was the last surviving member of her immediate family being predeceased by sisters Irene Calwell, Alberta Brown and Mabel Cavanaugh. She had been employed with the family grocery store and her sister’s millinery shop over the years. She is survived by nephew Matthew Cavanaugh a host of friends. Although there is no visiting relatives and friends can gather at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), on Thursday from 1:00 until 2:15 pm at which time the funeral service will be held in the chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
