Obituary of Audrey Doris Estey

Estey, Audrey Doris … The death of Audrey Doris Estey of Saint John, NB occurred on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on November 21, 1918 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late William and Georgie (Reid) Thompson. Audrey was a loving wife and mother, and she enjoyed playing Bingo with her best friend her sister “Mug”, and she kept her mind sharp with reading and crossword puzzles. Survived by one son, Ralph, with whom she lived in Saint John; two daughters: Dawn Dickens (John) of Grand Bay … Westfield, NB and Jacqueline Steeves (Larry) of Shediac Cape, NB; two brothers: Walter Thompson (Joyce) and Harry Thompson (Joan), both of Saint John; one sister, Margaret “Mug” Robson of Saint John; eight grandchildren: Tim, Chris, Randy, Jody, Tony, Shelley, Tammy and Jonathan; fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; special niece, Tanya Robson, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Ralph “Pup” Estey and two brothers: Edison and Stanley. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Monday, December 31, 2007 at 2:15 pm. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
