Obituary of Helen M. Marks

The death of Helen Margaret (Boyle) Marks of Saint John, NB occurred on Friday, March 9, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Bloomfield, NB, daughter of the late Martin Henry and Genevieve (Constantine) Boyle. Helen was employed as a Taxi Dispatcher for many years before her retirement. She is survived by her sons, Gerald Marks (Doreen) of Kingston, NB and Martin “Mike” Marks (Lisa) of Leduc, AB; her daughters, Judy Richard (Ben), Veta Wood (Winston Locke) both of Saint John and Debbie Long (Kenny) of Bloomfield; her sisters, Mary Brown (Eldon) of Poodiac, NB and Lucy McGivery of Bloomfield, she is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her significant other, Donald Miller; her infant son, George and two brothers, Stephen and Goldwin Boyle. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 12, 2007 at 2:15pm from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
