Obituary of Goldwin Charles Lamb

Goldie passed into heaven in the arms of his children and wife after 84 rich years and a brief visit with cancer. Born in Chipman NB, he and Audrey settled in Saint John where he will be remembered most as the best husband and father a family could have…and a dedicated friendly Baxter milkman to many loyal customers in the Saint John area. He is survived by his wife Audrey (nee Brown), and his children Trent, Kevin (Brenda) and Gail Dornan (John). Bubba was an active and proud grandfather to Brent, Keenan, Robin and Andrew who carry his strengths of character and humility. Goldwin is predeceased by his parents Charles and Sibbald. As well as his brothers Lauchlan, Benton, Alex, and Clayton. He is survived by his sisters Bernice Thompson and Georgie Biggs and brothers Chesley (Joan) and Joe. His nieces and nephews will also remember Goldie as a soft-spoken smart handy hard-working man until he left us. He insured that guests and family left with fun and warm memories from his camp on Salmon River. His family look forward to seeing well-wishers at Brenans Funeral Home, (634-7424), 111 Paradise Row, Saint John between 2:00 and 4:00 PM, and 7:00 and 9:00 PM on Monday, June 8. A Christian funeral will take place at the Saint John First Weslyan Church, 399 Boars Head Rd at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 9. Interment will take place at the Red Bank Cemetary in Chipman NB immediately after the funeral and reception. Remembrances may be directed to the donors charity of choice, or online at www.BrenansFH.com
