Obituary of Elsie B. Jones

The family of Elsie B. Jones of Quispamsis wife of the late Cecil Jones, are deeply saddened to announce the death of their mother which occurred on Friday January 23, 2015 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Elsie was born in Burnt Point NL on April 9, 1927 to the late Frank K. and M. Louise (Goodwin) Milley. She has been a resident of New Brunswick since 1945. For many years she and her husband owned and operated Fundy Heights Convenience and C.H. Jones Variety in Lakewood Heights. Elsie was predeceased by three sisters Myrtle Pottle, Leona Burchill, Ethel Wicks; two brothers Herb and Wallace Milley. She is survived by sons Cecil (Donna), Bruce (Judy), Ron/Fred (Julie), Ian (Colette) and her daughter Louise Simpson; two sisters, Phyllis Ash and Lillian Love; two brothers, Raymond (Pearl) and Carson (Emily) Milley; eleven grandchildren Ryan, Heidi, Stephanie, Chris, Brittany, Luke, Alex, Brett, Maggie, Hunter and Ethan; four great grandchildren, Rebecca, Katelyn, Addison and Callan; several nieces and nephews. Elsie is resting at Brenans Funeral Home (634-7424), 111 Paradise Row. Visiting hours, Monday, January 26, 2015 form 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held from Brenans Chapel on Tuesday January 27, 2015 at 12 pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Mental Health or Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family.
