Obituary of Robert Hudson McIntyre

It is with profound sadness we announce the unexpected death of Robert Hudson "Chico" McIntyre at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 20, 2014. Son of the late Clarence and Olive McIntyre, he was born on May 5, 1947. Survived by his wife of 36 years, Tamzen McIntyre; daughters, Angela Krettler (Rob), Red Deer; Tammy Calvin; Lea Calvin and Jocelyn McIntyre; sons Jason and Hudson McIntyre, all of Saint John; grandchildren, Kyle, Josh, Zack and Ryder; great grandchildren Ryland and Alexandra; brother Peter McIntyre; sister Nancy McIntyre; many nieces and nephews and countless friends and acquaintances. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Danny McIntyre. All who knew Bobby were aware of his kindness to all of the less fortunate in the south end of the city, where he owned and operated McIntyre's Moving and Storage Inc. Dropping in for "words of wisdom" which he was never at a loss to share. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, April 23 from 6-8 pm and Thursday, April 24 from 3-8 PM. The funeral service will be held from St. John The Baptist Church, 54 Broad Street on Friday, April 25, 2014, at 10:00 AM. For those who wish, donations made to the Alzheimer's Society, The Kidney Foundation of New Brunswick or a charity of their choice would be appreciated by the family.
