Obituary of William Albert Parker

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bill Parker, loving husband to Yvonne (Slade) Parker, announce his passing which occurred on September 20, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on September 28, 1946 to the late Carl Maxwell and Leila Anne (Hutchison) Parker. Bill was a big fan of Elvis and an avid sports fan, playing hockey, Nascar and ball. In earlier years, he and the family enjoyed going to Pine Cone Camping in Sussex. Bill is survived by his wife Yvonne, his daughters Kelly Parker, Kimberly Parker, Pauline Lint; step-daughter, Lisa Leonard, grandson who was raised by his grandparents, Christopher as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sister Marguerite Hachey, and many members of his extended family. Besides his parents, Bill is predeceased by his daughter Tammy Parker and his brother-in-law Romeo Hachey. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, 2-4, 6-8 pm, September 23, 2015. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at 10:00 am. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to A Living Memorial, or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
