Obituary of Steven Joseph Foster Lacelle

It is with great sorrow that the family of Stephen Foster Lacelle announces his passing on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was locally known for bowling and playing darts. Steve drove taxi for many companies around town and he had many friends. Steve was born July 8, 1955 and was the son of the late Joseph John McGillicuddy and the late Jean Dorothy Yorke. He is survived by his much cherished children, daughter, Danielle and his son Adrian Legere-Sweeney. His grandson Hendrix was his pride and joy. He is also survived by brothers Robert (Angie) Lacelle, Michael Lacelle, Sean (Nancy) Lacelle, sisters Gail Lacelle-Savoie (Stephen) and Joanne McGillicuddy and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Ricky, Lindsay, Paul and sister Mary. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, 634-7424, with visiting on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 12 noon from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. A private interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association, Loch Lomond Villa, or Stepping Stones would be appreciated by the family.
