Obituary of Hilda Mary Turner

Delivered into the hands of God, Hilda Turner passed away peacefully on Sunday March 15, 2015 aged 69, after a long illness in the respectful care of the medical staff of St. John Regional Hospital. She is mourned by her loving family, sisters Anne, Christine, Rosemary, Kay and Geraldine, as well as her brother Eamonn Turner and her many other in-laws, nieces and nephews in Ireland, USA and Australia. Hilda was born in Dublin, Ireland where she graduated as a Physical Therapist and as a Nurse. She made a life-time career taking care of others. An active Physical Therapist in the St. John area for over 20 years, Hilda was devoted to her profession and the many patients under her care. She worked at the St. John Regional Hospital, as well as in St. John’s NL. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, coworkers and former patients. She will be cremated and interred with her parents, Patrick and Margaret Turner in Dublin, Ireland.
