Obituary of Hugh Allison

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Hugh Allison, beloved husband to Suzanne (Hanley) on Friday July 18th, 2014. Hugh was born in Brightons, Scotland to the late Hugh and Alice (Brown) Allison. Hugh's life revolved around his family and will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Suzanne, his darling daughter Kate (Mike) and his only grandchild Zachary. The mutual love between Hugh and his family will last forever. He is also survived by his brother Derek (Irene), his sister Eleanor (Charles) and their families of Scotland, as well as several sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Hugh came to Canada in the early 1970s and was a very proud and dedicated employee of the Irving Refinery until his retirement after 28 years of service. Hugh could put his hand to anything; he was a jack-of-all trades, an avid sportsman and an all-round wonderful man. At Hugh's request, there will be no service; a private family "Celebration of Life" will take place.
