Obituary of Dorothy F. Munro

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dorothy F. Munro announces her passing which occurred on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Kingsway Care Centre. Dorothy was born on August 24, 1932 to the late Ralph and Mary (Snodgrass) Munro. Dorothy was a long time member of St. Mary & St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church. She enjoyed people and people watching, but most of all, she loved her daughter Bonnie, doted upon her granddaughter Maya and shared a special relationship with her son-in-law, Anthony. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Bonnie (Anthony) Richards, her granddaughter Maya Richards, her brother Bill (Shirley) Munro, sisters: Ruth (Dave) Durley and Mary Sullivan. Besides her parents, Dorothy is predeceased by her brothers: Ralph Munro Jr and Bob Munro. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 2 PM from St. Mary & St. Bartholomew’s Church, 648 Westmorland Road, with interment to take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
