Obituary of Darlene Joan Cleveland

Darlene Joan Cleveland passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 29, 2015. Born on September 7, 1945, in Welsford she was a daughter of the late Lee "Ed" and Gertrude (Burton) Livingston. Darlene was an avid golfer, loved to hunt and enjoyed camping. Surviving are her children, Marina Thornton (Michael), Nackawic; David Adams (Karen), Saint John; Joanne Adams (Norm), Saint John; siblings, Kathy Bond (Terry), Welsford; Kevin Livingston (Lori) Welsford; Tina Livingston, Saint John; grandchildren, Ashley Dawn Smith (Matt), Joplin, Missouri; Samantha VanNieuwAmerongen (Sabastien), Saint John; Michael and Anthony Thornton both of Nackawic; great granddaughter, Everie Joy Smith, Joplin, Missouri. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husbands, William Cleveland and David Ashley Adams, special friend, Lawrence Sherwood and infant son, Dirk. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Keeping with Darlene’s wishes there will be a memorial service on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 2:30 pm at the Church of The Resurrection, 20 MacDonald Drive, Grand Bay-Westfield. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Darlene may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or to Caring for Colin.
