Obituary of Mary Ellen Keith

It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Mary Ellen Keith on September 15, 2014 at the QEII Health Science Centre, Halifax Infirmary Site, with her daughter by her side. Born on January 13, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary (Alexander) Richardson. Surviving are daughter, Lynne Keith (Wayne Robichaud), Kingston; son, Bryan Keith (Sarah), Saint John; step-children, Dana and Derek Keith; grandson, Connor; special friend, Don Lent. Besides her parents she was predeceased by Mark Mulholland; special aunts, Jean Cross and Dorothy Alexander. Mary Ellen was proudly from West Saint John spending her childhood on Dunn Avenue and then buying her home in Fundy Heights. She started working in the insurance business and was working for the school board for over 19 years. She enjoyed reading and knitting, cross stitching, crocheting baby items and saving them to share with a new baby of someone she knew. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, with visiting on Thursday, September 18 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at Brenan’s Chapel, on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place in Gladstone Cemetery, Fredericton Junction, to be laid to rest with her parents. In lieu of flower, donations can be made to the S.P.C.A. Animal Rescue League, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
