Obituary of Mary Anne Crowley

Mary Anne Crowley passed away on April 24, 2015 at the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on September 13, 1945 she was the daughter of the late William and Marie Zelda (Arsenault) Young. Anne was a member of The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and a Rumoli Ladies Group. She worked for 13 years at Provincial Insurance and then retired to raise her children. She enjoyed being a wife and mother and spending precious time with her grandchildren who she dearly loved. She also enjoyed cooking and would add her own flare to her favorite recipes. She is survived by her husband, Joseph "Joe"; a son, Matthew, Saint John; a daughter, Laura (Ralph) LeBlanc, Irishtown and their children Emma and Noah; brothers, Robert "Bob" (Judy) Young, Ottawa and James "Jim" (Yvonne) Young, Rothesay; brother-in-law, Thomas "Tom" (Mona) Crowley; sisters-in-law, Agnes and Mary Ellen Crowley all of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, April 29, at 12:10 pm at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Mass cards, or donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
