Obituary of Michael Patrick O'Keefe

It is with heavy hearts the family of Michael O’Keefe, loving husband of Christine O’Keefe, announces his passing which occurred on Friday, June 12, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on July 20, 1958, he was the son of Doreen Tracey (Ed) and the late Roy "Tarzie" O’Keefe. In addition to the love of his life – his wife of 30 years, Christine and his mother Doreen, Michael will be missed by his son Sean M. O’Keefe; a brother, John O’Keefe (Lori); sisters, Cathy Floyd (Kim), Ellen Fleming (Michael), Pam O’Brien (Michael); as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Michael was predeceased by his father, Roy O’Keefe. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, June 15, 2015 from 2-8 pm. A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 pm. For those who wish remembrances made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit or any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
