Obituary of Donald J. Moore

The death of Donald J. Moore of Saint John, NB, husband of the late Alma Moore, occurred on Friday, October 9, 2009 at Ridgewood Veteran Wing. Born in Saint John on September 11, 1924, he was a son of the late Cyril and Margaret (Wood) Moore. Donald was a veteran of the Second World War RCEME Survived by one daughter, Bette (Richard) Ebbett of Gagetown, NB; two grandchildren, Jill Douglas of Ottawa, ON and Bruce (Kelly) Ebbett of Fredericton, NB; three great-grandsons, Owen Douglas, Alex Ebbett and Jacob Ebbett; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one daughter, Mary Jane Moore; two brothers, Russell and Francis Moore; two sisters, Patricia Lamont and Bernice Sheppard. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424.
