Obituary of Ethel "Cookie" Geraldine Nash

The death of Ethel “Cookie” Nash of Saint John, NB occurred on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late, Donald Davidson and Mary Nash. Cookie enjoyed the flea markets, where she was known as the “Flea Market Queen”, she was also a member of the Choir at Trinity Anglican Church. Survived by her son, Wayne of Ottawa, ON; sisters, Elizabeth Hamilton of Calgary, AB, Opal Nash of Montreal, QC and Geraldine Nash of Toronto, ON; aunt, Audrey Nichols of Saint John; granddaughter, Jessica Bechard … Nash of Montreal QC, cousin, Kaimmela Coldwell as well as several nieces and nephews. Cookie was predeceased by her parents. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, with visiting on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at 3:00 pm from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment to take place in Fernhill Cemetery on Tuesday.
