Obituary of Betty Ann Doucette

Betty Doucette of Saint John, wife of Joseph Doucette Jr., passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Saint John on January 23, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Pearl (Moore) Nicolle. In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by three sons, Sidney “Wayne” Clark Jr. (Maryann) of Saint John, Daryl Clark of Saint John, and Jason Doucette of Saint John; a daughter, Elaine Connelly (Chris) of Belleisle; a sister, Erina Hudson of Saint John; three brothers, Kenneth Nicolle, Terry Bizeau, and Harold Bizeau, all of Saint John; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her parents; her sisters, Colleen, Hazel and Marlene; and by two brothers, Clarence “Uncle Pop” and Roy. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
