The death of Valerie May Bacon of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Theodore “Arnold” Bacon, occurred on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Valerie was predeceased by her husband, Arnold on August 14, 2009. Valerie had been employed for many years by special friend, the late Dr. Henrick Tonning. Valerie’s fondest memories were of her many travels around the world with Arnold and her many friends. She was an avid bridge player and was especially proud of her involvement with the “Fundy Frolics” productions in Saint John in the early 1960’s. Valerie truly appreciated the support of Betty, Elaine and Kathy during the past few years. By request of the family there will be no funeral home visitation.
