Obituary of Harry Arthur MacPherson

Harry Arthur MacPherson of Saint John, husband of Marjorie (MacDonald) MacPherson, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Saint John on September 14, 1923, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary (Splane) MacPherson. Harry was formerly employed with St. Anne Nackawic Pulp and Paper. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by a step-daughter, Angela Otis (Ken) of Saint John; three step-grandchildren, Michael Manuel, Matthew Lent and Mariah Lent; and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Harry’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be observed at this time. For those who wish, remembrances to the Kidney Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. The funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
