Obituary of Ruth Mary Saunders

At the Turnbull Nursing Home, Thursday, February 25th, 2010 Ruth peacefully passed away. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Willard B. and Alma M. (Poulin) Earle. She will be greatly missed by her special friend, Walter McShane. She is survived by brothers; Joseph (Betty) Chaisson, Raymond Chaisson, Willard (Carol) Earle, Raymond B. Earle, and sisters; Cecile (Paul) MacEachern, and Eileen (Earl) Foss; one son, Frank Harned and a granddaughter, Miranda. She is predeceased by a sister, Gloria Gray. In keeping with Ruth’s wishes, no formal visitation or funeral service will take place. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, Saint John (506) 634 - 7424. A graveside service will take place in Fernhill Cemetery on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 2pm with the Rev. Vince Galbraith officiating. Family and friends will gather for a car procession at Fernhill Cemetery & Crematorium office at 200 Westmorland Road at 1:50pm. For those who wish, remembrances to Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
