Obituary of Rose Mary Landry

Rose Mary Landry of Saint John, wife of Donald Terry Landry, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 08, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born at Saint John on May 24, 1954, she was a daughter of the late John Edward and Mary Ethel (Shannon) Breen. Rose Mary had been employed with J. D. Irving, Ltd. In addition to her husband, Rose Mary is survived by three sons, Donald Jr. (Kelli), Gary (Tabby), and Michael (Angie), and a daughter, Carrie Landry (Greg), all of Saint John; grandchildren Vanessa, Grier, and Chaniece; seven brothers, Charles (Audrey) of Saint John, Gary (Michele) of Quispamsis, Ronald of Saint John, Terry of Kingston Peninsula, Walter of Saint John, Malcolm (Helen) of Saint John, and Mark of Saint John; four sisters, Margaret Titus of Rothesay, Gerry Goakery of Toronto, Ann Burns (Bud) of Saint John, and Judy Donovan (Peter) of Saint John; a brother-in-law, Fred (Rita) of Saint John; sisters-in-law Patsy Oland (Roger) of Saint John, Carol Brooks (Douglas) of Saint John, Dale Doucette (Junior) of Saint John, and Rose Miller of St. George; and also special friend and sister-in-law, Dean Breen; and several nieces and nephews. Rose Mary was predeceased by a grandson, Dreden; a sister, Elaine Breen; and by brothers, John and Patrick Breen. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 12:00 Noon from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
