Obituary of Ann Patricia Melvin

Surrounded by the love of her family, Ann Patricia (Stevens) Melvin, daughter of the late James and Irene (Trainor) Stevens, passed away at Embassy Hall on October 4, 2015, at the age of 91. Ann was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Ann is survived by sons; Bob (Trudy) and Jim (Michele) and daughters; Sandra McNeill (Ernie), Marg Flewelling (Peter) and Terri Pridham. She will also be missed by her 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Frances Stevens and Theresa Stevens and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Vernon, brothers Jim and Jack and infant son Joseph. Ann is resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119), with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial by Father Kevin Barry will be celebrated at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 39 Tilley Street, Hampton, on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Interment to take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society, or to the charity of the donor's choice. The family wishes to thank the staff of Embassy Hall for their exceptional care and friendship they provided to Ann and our family during the three years she resided there.
