Obituary of Jennie Marjorie Saulnier

93, of Saint John, NB passed away February 25, 2010 at the York Manor Nursing Home in Fredericton, NB. Jennie was born in Saint John, NB, a daughter of the late Neil and Laura (Carlin) Peterson. She was a graduate of the School of Nursing at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston, Mass. She had been employed as an underwriter with John Hancock Insurance Company in Boston, Mass and later at Fairweathers Insurance Agency in Saint John, NB. Until her retirement a number of years ago, she had been a member of the Golden Toastmasters in Fredericton, NB, and was a Jehovah’s Witness. She is survived by two sons, Donald J. (Connie) Saulnier of Church Point, Nova Scotia and Daryl (Donna) Jones of Florida; also one brother, Glendon Neil, and one sister, Virginia Livingston, both of Saint John, NB; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Jennie was pre-deceased by her husband, Harvey Joseph Saulnier, and two of her children, Valerie and Fred Jones.
