Obituary of Kathy Susan McGaghey

Kathy Susan (Darrah) McGaghey, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, wife of Brian McGaghey occurred on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was employed with ComCare. Born on July 18, 1953 she was a daughter of Mary and the late Hazen Darrah. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by daughter, Tammy Burnside of Rothesay; sisters, Judy (Murray) Austin of Calgary/Quispamsis, Sandra (David) Scribner of Rothesay, Rosemary Darrah of Quispamsis; grandchildren, Kiana and Nicholas Hughes; six step-grandchildren; step-sons, Brian and Jason; two brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law,; six nieces and nephews. Besides her father she was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa Burnside. By the request of Kathy there will be no funeral home visiting or service. Interment will take place at a later date. Remembrances may be made to the Animal Rescue League. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424).
