Obituary of Robert John Wallace

The family of Robert "Bob" John Wallace of Quispamsis, NB, announce his passing which occurred peacefully on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Embassy Hall, Quispamsis, NB. Born on February 16, 1930 in Sussex, NB, he was a son of the late Harry and Mary (Keenan) Wallace. Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Constance (O'Brien) Wallace, sons; John (Andrea), Brian, daughter, Karen (Victor) Redakop, he will be sadly missed by all those who knew him well, his nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and those who made his acquaintance. He was predeceased by his sisters, Betty Norrad, Jean Owens and brother Walter. Bob was a well known business man in the construction and forestry sector, he was loved, trusted, and respected by his peers and customers. Bob served as Canadian President of the Construction Association of Equipment Dealers, making an impression to all in this business. His strength and love for life and his family persisted to his last moments. He loved to travel the world, visiting his many friends he had made in Florida and Mexico. St. Martins was his retreat with his family who knew him as the "Go to Guy"!! Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (849-2119) with visiting on Tuesday, September 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 2:00 PM. Interment to take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital's Oncology Department or to the memorial of the donor's choice.
