Obituary of Frances Elizabeth Jefferies

JEFFERIES, FRANCES E. – The death of Frances Elizabeth Jefferies occurred on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, she was the only daughter of the late Charles John and Marion Beth (Hatfield) Tooker. She was the last surviving member of the Tooker family. Frances is survived by her husband, Ivor L. Jefferies, and their son John Michael and his wife Jo-Ann (Ferguson) Jefferies of Riverview; and a granddaughter, Joanna Elizabeth and her husband Nicholas Burns Mattatall of Moncton. By request, no visitation or funeral service will be held. Interment will take place in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, at a later date. The funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
