Obituary of Annie Elizabeth Moore

Annie Moore, wife of the late Claude Moore, formerly of Candace Street, passed away peacefully with her family around her, on Monday, May 21, 2007. She was born in Gagetown, NB on May 14, 1927 to the late Lloyd and Olive (Wiggins) McKinney. Annie was a sales associate for Sears, Towers Luggage and Crescent Jewelers for many years until her retirement. She was an active member of St. Luke’s Church. Annie was loved by all, the neighborhood children nicknamed her “Mrs. Cleaver”. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Moore-Boyle of Rothesay, two grandchildren Carter and Turner Boyle both of Rothesay, one sister, Verna (Doug) Colwell of Rothesay, two brothers Clifford (Doris) McKinney of Hampton and Allan (Anna) McKinney of Quispamsis, sister in-law Joan (Don) Moore of Fredericton, brother in-law Bob (Linda) Moore of Gagetown, several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. Besides her husband and parents, Annie was predeceased by two sons Wayne and Brian Moore. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John 634-7424 with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 1 pm. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be to Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home.
