Obituary of Dorothy Hazel Barbour

The death of Dorothy Hazel Barbour occurred at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Home in Saint John on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2003. Born in Saint John on August 18th, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Muriel Naas. She was predeceased by her husband Russell Sage Barbour in 1996. A life long resident of Saint John, she was employed by the Saint John Regional Hospital for several years prior to her retirement. She is survived by one daughter Sandra Stewart (William) of Rothesay, NB and an aunt Mazie Aiken of Napean, Ontario; as well as, several cousins. She was also predeceased by her sister, May Naas. By request of the family there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Dorothy will be buried beside her husband in a private graveside service at Fernhill Cemetery.
