Obituary of Bryden Vincent Little

The death of Bryden Vincent Little, formerly St. Catherine Street, Saint John, husband of the late Lillie Mae (Nelson) Little, occurred on Sunday, June 29, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Dartmouth, NS, on July 25, 1909, he was the son of the late James and Mabel (Stevens) Little. Mr. Little joined the Saint John Police Force in 1936 and retired in 1971 as a Division Inspector, after 35 years of service and was the oldest retired Policeman of the Saint John Police Force. He was an active member of Main Street Baptist Church and served as Deacon for many years. He is survived by one son, Ralph W. (Jean), one daughter, Gloria L. Robichaud (Leopold), both of Saint John, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter, Rowena Ezerskis and one brother, Lorne H. Little. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Main Street Baptist Church on Thursday, July 3, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or Main Street Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
