Obituary of Marion Marshall

The death of Marion Marshall, wife of the late Ernest Marshall, occurred on July 24, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Phillips) Furness. She was a lifelong resident of Saint John and was a member of St. Peter's Church and the CWL. She is survived by her son William and his wife Linda of Hampton, her daughter Patricia Marie Marshall of Saint John, her grandchildren Paul (Trish) and Lethe, and several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been predeceased by her brothers Francis, Louis, Thomas and Jack. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Monday from 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at 10:00 AM, from St. Peter's Church. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
