Obituary of Ernest John Wilson

The death of Ernest (Ernie) John Wilson of Market Place, Saint John, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 11, 2003. Mr. Wilson was the son of the late James Wilson and Ethel (Stackhouse) Wilson. Ernie was an avid musician and well-known throughout the Maritimes. Mr. Wilson worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway as Foreman and Checker for many years. Mr. Wilson is survived by two sons, Stephen Wilson, Saint John, NB, Ernest (Natalie) Wilson, Saint John, NB, two daughters Janet (Mark) Walsh, Saint John, NB, Natalie Wilson, Fort McMurray, Alb., one brother Howard Wilson, Lornville, NB, one sister Doris Magee, Saint John, NB, nine grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, one brother Ronald Wilson and half brother Byard Wilson. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, (634-7424). There will be no visitation, following cremation a funeral service will be held Monday, September 15, 2003, at 10:00 AM in Brenan's Chapel, Paradise Row, Saint John. Remembrances to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or donors choice would be appreciated.
