Obituary of Leo Arnold McCann

The death of Leo Arnold McCann, of Saint John, husband of Shirley (Logan) McCann, occurred unexpectedly on Saturday, January 25, 2003, at the Sussex Health Center. Born in Fredericton Junction, NB, he was the son of the late James E. and Therowana (Parks) McCann. Mr. McCann was an Armored Guard with Securicor for several years, and was a member of their Union. Leo enjoyed painting, and loved to paint landscape's and wildlife. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Jason McCann (Meghan Lowe) of Edmonton, AB, one daughter, Tara McCann of Saint John, one brother, Ralph J. McCann (Sharon) of Truro, NS, one sister, Mavis T. Maxwell of Saint John, grandson, Logan, several nieces, and nephews and special friend Annie. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at 2:15 PM, followed by cremation.
