Obituary of Delore Mary Babin

The death of Delore Babin,wife of Edgar 'Edmund' J. Babin, of Quispamsis, occurred on September 11, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Petit Rocher, NB, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine (Boudreau) Roy. She was a devoted homemaker and assisted her husband with their family business. Besides her husband she is survived by her son Norman and his wife Christine Pennel of Campbell River, BC, her daughters Jacqueline Beckingham and her husband Allan of Meenan's Cove, Doreen Hayes and her husband Louis of Edmonton, AL, her five grandchildren Christopher (Karen), Jennifer (Rob), Jason (Maureen), Jacob (Laura) and Karen (Timm), her great-grandchildren Matthew and Emma and several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 14, 2004, at 10:00 AM, from St. Mark's Church, Quispamsis. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
