Obituary of Bertram Smith Dallon

The death of Bertram Smith Dallon of Gardner Creek, NB, husband of Carol M. (Thompson) Dallon, occurred on Monday, June 27, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Gardner Creek, he was the son of the late James Curry and Harriett May (Daley) Dallon. Mr. Dallon was employed at Winterport for 29 years and with the Department of Transportation for over 10 years before his retirement. He was a member of St. Thomas' Anglican Church, Black River and enjoyed family, farming and had a great love for horses. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Douglas E. (Ann) of Fairfield, William B. (Patsy) of Saint John West and David J. at home, one brother, Hallie (Myrtle) of Lakewood, one sister Lois Primeau of Saint John East, four granddaughters, Jessica, Emily, Keri Ann and Kellie Lyn, one step-grandson, Jeffrey Sullivan, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Roy, Ken, Bob and Cecil and one sister, Thelma Johnston. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 30, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Interment in St. Thomas' Anglican Church Cemetery, Black River. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, St. Thomas' Anglican Church, Black River or the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
