Obituary of Dorothy Bernice Archer

The death of Dorothy Bernice Archer, wife of Donald H. Archer, occurred on August 25, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel (Scaplen) Flewelling. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting giving her works to people through Saint John Regional Hospital. Besides her husband she is survived by her son Wayne D. and his wife Fran of Rothesay, her brother George Flewelling and his wife Evlyn of Saint John, her sister Betty Mabey of Campobello, NB, her grandson Chris Archer and several nieces and nephews. Her son Kenneth and her sisters Helen Fowler and Jean Garland predeceased her. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 27, 2004, at 2:15 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Following cremation interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
