Obituary of Katherine N. Foster

The death of Katherine (Purslow) Foster, wife of the late John Foster, of Rothesay, NB, occurred on Sunday, February 20, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Fairvale, NB the daughter of the late Samuel and Nora (Morris) Purslow. Katherine was a House Mother at the Nurses Residence of the Saint John General Hospital for fourteen years, until her retirement. She had a love for gardening and making crafts. Survived by her son, Douglas (Ann) of Rothesay, NB; her daughter, Patricia Babin of Cambridge, ON; grandchildren: Stephen (Sherry) Foster and Jamie (Tina) Foster both of Darlings Island, NB, and Michael Foster of Halifax, NS; great-grandchildren: Emily Katherine and Rebecca Ann. By request of the family, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Private family interment in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements under the care and direction of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
