Obituary of Doris May Logan

The death of Doris May (Cain) Logan of Saint John, NB, occurred on Sunday, November 21, 2004 at the Kennebec Manor Nursing Home, Saint John. Born in Boundary Creek, NB a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Steeves) Cain. Doris was a well known local artist and a member of the Saint John Art Club. Her hobbies included stained glass, candle making, ceramics, macramé and playing bridge. She attended First Wesleyan Church on Boars Head Road, Saint John and was a former member of Main Street Baptist Church. Survived by four daughters, Lynn Martin of Rothesay, Gail (David) Weyman of Saint John, Kathy Logan of Saint John and Cindy (Peter) Harroun of Lower Sackville, NS; two sisters, Eileen (Don) Young of Ontario and Audrey (Allison) Steeves of Steeves Mountain, NB; five grandchildren, Christopher Martin, Shauna Weyman, Stephen Weyman, Scott Harroun and Heather Harroun; two great-grandchildren, Keladry Martin and Alyssa Hermann; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by five brothers, her twin Noris, Lawrence, Frank, Charlie and Norman Cain; two sisters, Muriel Brown and Bertie Cunningham and nephew, Dale Young. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Thursday, November 25, 2004 from 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 26, 2004 at 12 pm. Interment will follow in Boundary Creek Baptist Cemetery. Remembrances to Alzheimer Society Saint John, World Hope International - Canada or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
