Obituary of Eunice Geraldine Roy

The death of Eunice Geraldine Roy, wife of the late Albert J. Roy, occurred on June 12, 2005 at her residence, the Spencer Care Home, Moncton. Born in Chatham, NB, she was the daughter of the late Peter Henry and Angelique (Sonier) Gallant. She moved to Saint John in 1955 and was employed with Robbins Drug Store and McLean & Matthews Drug Store in the Fairview Plaza before becoming a real estate agent before her retirement. She was a former member of St. Pius X Church and was a member of the CWL. She served as a director of Birthright in Saint John of 8 years. She is survived by daughter Thelma Arsenualt (Ralph Rice) of Moncton, brother Arthur Gallant of Dohamel, PQ, grandsons L. Joseph (Joey) and his daughters Celeste and Allisha Arsenault, Michael John and his children Dominic and Madison Arsenualt. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 16, 2005, at 11:00 am, from St. Pius X Church. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
