Obituary of Mary Odile Alward

The death of Mary Alward, wife of the late William A. Alward Sr., of French Village Rd., Quispamsis, NB, occurred on Thursday, October 28, 2004 at her residence. Born in Acadieville, NB a daughter of the late Jean and Elise (Goguen) Thebeau. Survived by two sons, William “Bill” (Yolande) and Gary, both of Quispamsis; two daughters, Jeanne (Roger) Dorion of Rogersville and Sandra (Frank) Linek of New Jersey, USA; one sister, Anne Marie (Roger) Lavoie of Lavaltrie, Quebec; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, William; one brother, Desire and one sister, Jeanne. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Sunday, October 31, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 1, 2004 at 11 am from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel, interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
