Obituary of Isabel Adelaide Kerwin

Kerwin, Isabel Adelaide passed away peacefully on Friday, December 3rd at the St. John & St. Stephen Church Home. She was born on the 27th of February 1910, in Maxville, ON, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Munro) Dingwall. She was the wife of the late Herman Lewis Kerwin. She was a kind and loving person devoted to her children and her grandchildren. Her perpetual smile, friendliness, love of cooking, sense of humor and love of people was apparent to all her many friends and customers while employed at Birks Jewellers where she continued to work until her retirement at the age of 80. Her greatest joy besides her family was the time she spent at Teaberry Hollow, her daughter's cottage in Summerville with Austin, Clarence and Axel. She was predeceased by her four brothers Finley, Alex, William and John and her two sisters Anna and Margaret Dingwall. Surviving are her twos sons John (Lois) of Blockhouse, NS, William (Linda) of Saint John, and her daughter Elizabeth Kerwin (Graham Wolstenholme) of Long Reach. She has five grandchildren, Gard Kerwin (Ginette), Christianna Kerwin (Trevor_Majensky), Heather Donald (Michael), Thomas Kerwin (Melinda) and Bonnie Kerwin. She has seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2004, at 1:00 PM, from Brenans Chapel. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances made to the Alzheimer's Society or the charity of the donor's choice will be greatly appreciated.
