Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Vermette

The death of Elizabeth Ann Vermette, wife of the late Patrick Vermette, occurred on August 2, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Campbellton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Jane (Doucet) Savage. She is survived by her son Donald Vermette of Quispamsis, daughters Joan (Paul Landry) of Dieppe, NB, Catherine (Roger LeBlanc) of Los Angeles, CA, Margaret Drew of Saint John, Viola Poirier of Moncton, Theresa (Eugene Doucett), her brother Charles Savage (Bernice) of Campbellton, NB, her sister Stella Silliker of Moncton, 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Gloria Gaudet, brother Louis Savage and sister Frances Duguay. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 7-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, August 6, 2005, at 11:00 am, from Brenan's Chapel, followed by cremation. Remembrances made to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
