Obituary of Margaret Annie Stevens

The death of Margaret Annie Stevens, wife of the late Ronald Stevens, of the Kennebec Manor, occurred on April 19, 2005 at her residence. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late John and Martha Annie (Briggs) Craik. She was a member of the Westfield United Church, a member of the UCW and the church choir, a life member of the Women's Institute and the Orange Lodge (Grand Bay), the Canadian Red Cross and the Martinon Gems. She is survived by her son Ralph Edward Stevens and his wife Patricia, her daughter Elaine Carol Buckley and her husband Douglas, all of Grand Bay-Westfield, and her grandchildren Troy and Melissa. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been predeceased by her sister Nellie MacGregor and her step-sister Joan Stapleton. Although there will not be visiting, following cremation at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), the memorial service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2005, at 11:00 am, from the Westfield United Church. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Old Cemetery. Remembrances made to Kennebec Manor, the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
