Obituary of Vera Bertha Dennison

The death of Vera Bertha Dennison, wife of Curtis A. Dennison, occurred on May 10, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Onslow, NS, she was the daughter of the late Edward Leroy and Laura Sophia (Connolly) Hamilton. She lived in Norton, NB, for 26 years before moving to Saint John. She was a member of the Calvary United Pentecostal Church, Sussex, and Full Gospel Assembly in Saint John. Besides her husband she is survived by her sons Curtis Jr. and his wife Carolyn, Richard and his wife Barbara, Malcolm and his wife Micki, all of Sussex, NB, her daughters Sharon and her husband Norman Wilson, Gloria and her husband Anthony Lawson, Hazel Holton, all of Red Deer, AB, Doris Dennison and Florence and her husband Charles Marshall, both of Saint John, Patricia and her husband Joseph Mercer of Sussex, her brother Allan and his wife Marion of Saint John, her sister Phyllis and her husband Douglas Brown of Saint John, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Gwendolyn, brothers Lloyd, Lester, Basil, Cecil, and Leo, her sisters Hazel Lloyd and Doris Campbell. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2005, at 11:00 am, from Brenans Chapel. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Foundation would be appreciated.
