Obituary of Eleanor Edith Elliot

Elliot, Eleanor Edith – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Eleanor E. Elliot, wife of the late Frederick J. "Ted" Elliot, announces her passing which occurred on Monday, August 1, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on November 25, 1919, she was a daughter of the late James N. and Eleanor W. (Ingraham) Semple. Eleanor will be missed by her daughter, Susan Elliot; beloved feline companions, Max and Nugget; several cousins, nieces and nephews; as well as a special grandniece and grandnephew. In addition to her parents and husband, Eleanor was predeceased by a sister, Marion A. Leach (Arthur) and several cousins. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). In keeping with Eleanor’s wishes, no formal visitation or funeral service will take place. A private graveside service will be held for the family at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to CARMA or SPCA – Animal Rescue would be appreciated by the family.
